Growing up in the Northeast, Joe Cortese grew up with a LOVE of radio from a very young age.  Listening to popular stations like WABC and WPLJ in New York, Joe worked his way up, practicing his craft and developing a RAZOR SHARP knowledge of ‘80s and ‘90s hits along the way.  That ENCYCLOPEDIA – or WIKIPEDIA for today’s terms – living inside his head is why we refer to Joe as “The Professor of Pop.”
