An AARP Tax-Aide Volunteer Open House is being held at the AARP office, 199 Main Street, Suite 225 in Burlington from 3pm to 5pm. AARP Tax-Aides help Seniors and low-income citizens with free tax-filing help.

A New Haven “Comes Together” is being held at the Town Hall, 70 North Street in New Haven from 4:30pm to 8:30pm. Discussion will include the Future of Beeman, Youth & Families, the Fire Station, Emergency Shelter Infrastructure, Public Safety and more. Bridport Central School is having its 3rd annual Spaghetti Dinner and Basket Raffle from 6pm to 7pm. Eat in or take out. Support the kids and their year-long STEM unit.
Saturday, November 8th
All Saints Parish Hall, 160 Main Street in Richford is having Bingo. Doors open at 11:30am and the games begin at 1pm.
St. Pius, the 10th Church, Route 15 in Essex Town, is having a Christmas Bazaar from 9am to 3pm with crafters, baked goods, raffle and a visit from Santa Claus (11am-1pm). Lunch will be available.

Faith United Methodist Church, 899 Dorset Street and All Saints Church, 1250 Spear Street, both in South Burlington, are hosting their 2025 Holiday Bazaar beginning at 9am to benefit Common Roots and South Burlington’s Food Shelf and offering food access to those in need.
The First Congregation Church, 39 Main Street in Essex Junction is having a Craft Fest/Toy Drive from 9am to 3pm. There will be over 30 crafters including Jenn Ellis, maker of Bernie’s mittens, basket raffles, baked goods and toy donations (no stuffed animals) for those in need.
United Church of Fairfax is holding its annual bazaar at the James Herbert Bellows Fairfax Community Center, 1210 Main Street (Route 104) from 9am to 2pm with crafts, baked goods and more.
A Crafter and Vendor Fair is taking place at the Vergennes American Legion, 100 Armory Lane, from 10am to 3pm to benefit The Veterans Place in Northfield, Vermont.

The Disabled American Veterans is conducting the Veterans Day Ceremony at Ethan Allen Cemetery across from Camp Johnson in Colchester beginning at 11am.

The First Congregational Church of Brookfield at the corner of Ridge Road and Route 65 is having its 23rd annual All-You-Can-Eat Hunters’ Breakfast and Bake Sale from 7am to 11am.
The Vergennes American Legion Post #14, 100 Armory Lane, is having live music by Short Notice from 7pm to 10pm. The public is invited.
St. John the Evangelist, 106 Vine Street in Northfield is having a Vermont Crafts and Products Fair from 9am to 3pm with ornaments. jewelry, stained glass, jams jellies, syrup. Fudge and more.
Ongoing: The American Red Cross is always looking for blood donations—accepting donors at the Blood Donation Center at 32 North Prospect Street in Burlington 365 days a year, and conducting Blood Drives on both sides of Lake Champlain throughout the year.
