Join KOOL 105 and the Vermont Lake Monsters for the fourth annual “Takumta Softball-a-Thon” to benefit Camp Ta-Kum-Ta in South Hero, Vermont and New York’s Camp for Kids who have, or have had, cancer.
It’s an all-day softball game with players and teams coming in-and-out of the game throughout the day! How many innings do we play? How many runs will we score? Who knows! We keep playing until we run out of players!
Sign-up as an individual, or gather-up co-workers, or family & friends and play a few innings of ball at centennial field for a great cause!
Your tax-deductible donation to Camp Ta-Kum-Ta gets you a spot on the field, representing either ‘the ropies’ or ‘the waterfront’—two of camp’s favorite activities: the ropes course and the pool! ‘The ropies’ and ‘waterfront’ have always had a fun back-and-forth competition of pranks at camp, and now the ultimate competition to find out which team can score the most runs on the softball field!
Heritage Aviation, Agilent Technologies, Four Seasons Sotheby’s Real Estate, NBC5, WCAX Channel 3, and the Burlington Fire Department are just a few of the organizations already signed up to play!
Plus—there’s more than just softball! Bring the whole family for touch-a-truck from 9am-to-1pm, face painting, inflatable bouncy houses, food from Shelburne Tap House, East Coast Ice, Lake Monsters’ Pizza and beverages, and more!
