Friday, September 5th through Sunday, September 7th
The Med47 Foundation is having a benefit Garage/Household sale at 2044 Monkton Road in Bristol from 9am to 4pm each day with bicycles, camping stuff, furniture, toys, sports equipment and more.
Saturday, September 6th
Nashville artists Rhinestones and Rust perform their original songs and favorite covers at the VFW in Middlebury at 520 Exchange Street from 7pm to 9pm. Tickets are $10.
All Saints Parish, 160 Main Street in Richford is hosting Bingo. Doors open at 11:30am and the games begin at 1pm. All are welcome.
The Frist Congregational Church of Brookfield at the corner of Ridge Road and Route 65 is having an all-you-can-eat Pancake Breakfast from 7am to 11am along with a bake sale. All are welcome.
The United Way is hosting a Southern Style Barbecue of brisket at $20 or pulled pork at $15 at the Enosburg Hannaford’s, 71 Jay View Drive in Enosburg Falls from 10:30am to 4pm. Sides include corn bread and a drink.
Sunday, September 7th
The Vermont National Guard is hosting a free Open House at the Air National Guard Base in South Burlington from 10am to 3pm with interactive exhibits, military vehicles and aircraft, robotics and more. Meet pilots, mechanics, medics, engineers and others who serve in the Guard. There will also be food trucks.
Thursday, September 11th
There will a free Fall Job Fest outdoors at Depot Park, 49 Evelyn Street in Rutland from 11am to 2pm sponsored in part by the Vermont Department of Labor.
Ongoing: The American Red Cross is always looking for blood donations—accepting donors at the Blood Donation Center at 32 North Prospect Street in Burlington 365 days a year, and conducting Blood Drives on both sides of Lake Champlain throughout the year.
