Rod Hill 10:00am-3:00pm

Native Vermonter Rod Hill started his radio career at UVM’s WRUV in Burlington in 1974 selling advertisements, doing commercial production and filling in on-air for the student DJ's.

Rod parlayed this experience into a “real” commercial radio job at Top 40 legend  14/WDOT Burlington in the Fall of 1977.  He was soon wooed across town to AM 620 WVMT in February of 1980, and back to WDOT in 1983.  Soon after, Rod was pegged for the morning shift on Rutland’s WRUT (now WZRT) and WSYB-AM.

Like all good radio professionals in Burlington, Rod would finally settle down at Hall Communications in April of  1986, bringing his expertise to WJOY and WQCR. Rod switched to country and WOKO in April of 1990. Rod was host of the Morning Roundup until December of 1995 when he was asked to tackle the job of Program Director for new radio station: KOOL 105.  Along with keeping things cooking behind the scenes, Rod also provides “more music for your workday each weekday from 10 to 3.
